Our Commitment to Community
Welcome to our page! The XAB Community Resource Center is a nonprofit organization founded in honor of Captain Xaviera Alexandra Black, the beloved daughter of Bishop Randell and Overseer Sonia Black. Captain Black was a woman of vision, compassion, and purpose. Her life was dedicated to serving others and uplifting her community.
The XAB Community Resource Center is a hub for the following services
-Promoting Mental Health Awareness
-"Let's Talk" Program: An initiative to encourage open conversations about mental health and well-being with trained, certified, and licensed counselors.
-Chaplain Services
-End of Life Doula and planning
-Food Pantry
-Clothing Closet
More services will be developed in the future
We also serve as a "Grab and Go Refreshment Center" for the first responders.
We are excited for this community initiative!
